Men, join us for an adventure designed to bring calm to the soul and offer what is well recognized as some of our country's very best fly fishing– the waters of southwestern Colorado. There will also be a chance to soak in a variety of therapeutic hot springs, and plenty of time to relax on the deck of our gorgeous lodge. Getting away from business deals, cell phones, and computer keyboards can clear the mind and pave the way to spending time alone with the creator of the universe.
Review Techniques of Fly Fishing
When you arrive at Mountain Light Lodge, you will be greeted by the warmth and comfort of a fire blazing in the fireplace. After settling into your room and meeting new friends, we serve a piping hot meal. After dinner we relax, enjoy good conversation, and then retire for a good night’s rest.
The next morning, you have a full course buffet style breakfast of eggs, ham, potatoes, toast, pastries, a variety of fresh fruits and plenty of hot coffee, tea, and juice. After breakfast, and a brief trip orientation, we load up our packs, and head out for a day of practice and review of the skills and techniques of fly fishing. The staff will answer questions, demonstrate techniques, and ensure each participant has the appropriate gear. We typically have a successful catch this first day before heading back to the lodge. We close the day, a hot meal, and warm bed.

Hot Springs/Celebration Feast
On the way back through the little town of Pagosa Springs, we stop for a long soak in the world’s deepest hot springs. That evening we have a celebratory feast of grilled steaks with all the sides, and of course sit around the fireplace telling tales about the one that got away.
While engaged in the sport of fly fishing, the schedule and setting most importantly allows us to reflect on the creator of the universe and discuss Biblical principles that relate to our daily lives. This kind of opportunity comes very rarely in life. So men, join us for an adventure that will bring calm to the soul and memories for a lifetime.
