Hands-on Training

The Boy Scouts of America defines Wilderness First Aid as the assessment of and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care by a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. Our Wilderness First Aid offers hikers, camp leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and individuals these essential assessment and treatment skills through hands-on training led by a licensed instructor. Classroom instructions and demonstrations are combined with realistic scenarios designed to reinforce learning. Upon course completion, participants will have the knowledge, understanding and ability to make good decisions and take effective action in a wilderness emergency.
