[The Trips] [Father & Son] [Men only] [Mtn Top] [North to Alaska] [Men's Fly Fishing] [Adult BP 1] [Adult BP 2] [VOW Africa]

Join us on an unforgettable two week adventure to Africa. Voice of Wilderness will be headed to Kenya, taking it’s outdoor experience globally. This trip has two distinct purposes.

Mission: Voice of Wilderness will start their mission in Nairobi. We will partner with Global Action to serve those in need.

Our mission goal include:

    • Sharing the love of Christ with kids in the Public School.
    • Going into Kibera slums and sharing with those in need.
    • Providing an element of humanitarian support with those we visit.
    • Laying the ground work for a cottage industry that gives those in need a hope for the future

  • Afterwards, we will travel to Chuka, north of Nairobi, at the foot of the second largest mountain in Africa, “Mount Kenya”. Chuka will be our base camp for the last part of our mission. Our focus will be to serve the people of Chuka in the surrounding area.

Safari: The remaining 3 days of our adventure will be flying to the Maasai Mara region for our personal safari. The Maasai Mara is the best destination in Kenya for viewing wildlife. It is home to a great wildlife spectacle, as sometime between August and November more than two million wildebeest migrate from the Serengeti in search of water and grazing. The famous Maasai tribesmen live in this area and we will have opportunities to visit the culturally rich villages. This experience will allow you to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of Africa. So get your passport, book your flight and bring a heart of adventure and a love for people.

Additional Information and supplies

You will be responsible for your own flight arrangements to Nairobi, Kenya. In Nairobi we will be staying in modest hotel accommodations. On the safari we will stay in grand safari style, in exquisite tent facilities equipped with comfortable beds and bath facilities. Bring your typical travel gear for your stay in Africa. The weather during this time of the year is generally hot during the day and cold during the night. So make sure you have a good combination of shirts (both long and short sleeve), several pair of pants (including shorts), a light jacket, hat, and good rain gear. The light garments will be used for the game drives during the day and the warm garments will be used for the evening camp fire and entertainment.
