Men's Flyfishing Retreat
One of the top three flyfishing spots
The hectic routine a man is often confronted with in our society causes the heart to yearn for a little time of retreat to a place that generates peace, enjoyment and spiritual renewal. A quaint log lodge nestled in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado stands ready to welcome those who wish to satisfy these yearnings.
Each morning after a big buffet style breakfast, we will strap on a day pack laden with flyfishing gear, and hike to some of the best streams and rivers in the region. A unique spot or section of water, secluded in a narrow canyon, valley or meadow invites the angler to practice his skills against a variety of mountain trout. A highlight will be two days of fishing below the Navaho Dam on the SanJuan River, one of the top three flyfishing spots in the lower 48. You will have the option of working with one of the local guides to hone your skills and land one of the big ones. Each evening at the lodge, we will enjoy a home cooked meal, then settle down around the fireplace and tell stories about the one that got away.
So put it on your calendar, start collecting your gear and plan to experience a time in the mountains that will rest your soul.
