Mountain Light Lodge - Rest and Enjoy

Ladies, the outdoors isn't just for men.  Mountain Light Lodge is the perfect place for that much needed R&R, that adventure trip you always wanted to take, that quiet place we all need to escape to every now and then, and that connection between women we all long for. If that sounds good to you, then this is the trip for you and the best part is... you don't even have to stay in a tent!  You get to enjoy God's creation, see beautiful breathtaking mountains, and enjoy that hot cup of coffee, from the cozy terrace of the lodge.

Soothe the Soul

The days ahead will unfold a cornacopia of sights, smells, feelings and experiences that will soothe your soul and quite possibly impact your life forever.  Each morning we'll rise reasonable early and have a big buffet style breakfast, before packing our day packs for the adventures of the day.

Meadows, Waterfalls, Wildlife & Wildflowers

Our trails will lead us to valleys so beautiful, you may find yourself twirling in the meadow as if you are the star of the movie "Sound of Music". Eating gourmet sandwiches and fresh fruit beside a stream while dipping your toes in cool white water and breathing in that fresh mountain air gives new meaning to having lunch. We will visit a variety of waterfalls that seem to drop from the sky, wind through dense forests of spruce and aspen, and be pleasantly surprised by the variety of wildlife and wildflowers flourishing in the area.  Good stuff for the scrapbook.

Hot Springs and Country Western Music

These days will also include a visit to the world famous Pagosa Hot Springs. Soaking in warm mineral water, (known for its healing properties), after a long day hike is indeed very special. Spending a day in Durango shopping and sightseeing, then concluding with an evening of country western music at the Bar  D Chuck wagon Show and Barbeque is also very special.

By the way - home cooked meals, fellowship and devotionals around the fireplace each evening is routine. Ladies, it's your turn.
