The River Of No Return    

     Brace yourself for an exciting adventure involving a wild river and a rugged mountain wilderness. Plan to arrive July 11 th in the fascinating mountain town of Salmon, Idaho. It is here we will pack up and get a good nights rest in a quaint little cabin before we begin. Early the next morning we will head for a section of the Salmon River, better known as The River Of No Return. It was this bigFor the next two days we will experience white water at its best as we float a section of the river that flows through the second deepest canyon in the U.S. The scenic beauty in the depths of this gorgeous canyon, gourmet meals and an evening of camping on the banks of a wild river, all add to the appeal of this unique adventure.

     After two days, we will emerge from the canyon and make our way toward the trailhead that will take us into the Bighorn Crags, part of the Frank Church River Of No Return wilderness. For the next three days we will backpack in a rugged wilderness area that displays an array of unique mountain beauty and offers a complete mountain adventure. Rugged peaks reaching high into the sky, an abundance of streams and lakes to challenge the avid fisherman and expansive wilderness vistas captivate the eyes of those that behold.
