Our encounter with the great outdoors will take place in the spectacular Weminuche Wilderness, one of America's newest and least traveled wilderness areas. We'll follow a trail that will lead us deep into the heart of this remote wilderness and set up base camp in a beautiful meadow beside a refreshing mountain stream. For the next five days we'll day hike to the many unique spots that surround our camp, looking for that special fishing hole and photographing towering peaks, waterfalls and wide open spaces. Along the way we'll learn to navigate with map and compass and to identify the many varieties of wildflowers and wildlife.
Come join us in our camp each evening and soak up the warmth of a campfire and new found friends.
